Dalia tubular webbing yarn
This yarn is a tubular webbing suitable for hand making bags but also precious spring accessories .
The lyocell fiber from which this yarn is made is derived from the pulp of trees such as eucalyptus.
Once the tree is debarked, the pulp is collected on large bobbins and then compressed into a solution that makes it usable in order to obtain the tow needed to process the fiber into yarn
Trees from which bark is obtained do not need pesticides
- The amine oxide solvent used to obtain the fiber is nontoxic.
- Trees from which bark is obtained do not need pesticides
- amine oxide can be reused in the production process of new lyocell fiber so it is not dispersed into the environment
- The production of this fiber is fast so there is a significant savings in water and energy consumption
